The votes are in, and the winners of the Challenge Family Race Awards 2023 were announced last night at the global triathlon series’ annual Race Directors’ Meeting in Barcelona.
The Awards were developed in 2019 to provide recognition to the global team of race directors and teams behind the scenes for all they do for the sport of triathlon through the delivery of their races. In keeping with Challenge Family’s ethos of ‘All About the Athlete’, the Awards are decided by votes from thousands of athletes around the world.
“Our global race directors’ meeting is our opportunity to connect with our colleagues from all four corners of the world and share our common goals and vision, along with best practise to keep driving towards the best possible race experience for our athletes,” said Jort Vlam, Challenge Family CEO. “A highlight of the week is always the Awards ceremony which not only gives our highest performing races a chance to shine, but also allows us to thank everyone who gives so much to our sport through Challenge Family, from the race teams to the volunteers to our partners, and of course the athletes themselves.”
