The annual TriClub Global Rankings provides registered IRONMAN TriClubs a way to globally measure their race performance against other TriClubs enrolled in the program. At the end of each year, we look forward to honoring the top TriClubs for all their hard work after a long race season.
The last few months have brought unexpected changes to the 2020 IRONMAN event schedule, with race postponements and cancellations globally. After assessing all scenarios, we believe it is only fair to cancel the IRONMAN TriClub Program Global Rankings for 2020 and resume in 2021 when every region has equal opportunity to race and compete. Please note that the TriClub Global Rankings will still be online for you to check your club member results.
TriClub Divisions
Clubs are divided into five divisions according to the number of affiliated club members racing IRONMAN, IRONMAN 70.3 and 5150 races in the calendar year. Club’s current divisions will stand for the remainder of 2020 and will not be updated throughout the year, even when racing resumes. In 2021, we will resume with normal division updates. Divisions are updated three times throughout the year (June, September and December). At the beginning of the year, club divisions are based off the previous year athlete numbers until the first update in June.
- Division I: Over 200 athletes
- Division II: 126 – 199 athletes
- Division III: 76 – 125 athletes
- Division IV: 26 – 75 athletes
- Division V: Under 25 athletes
TriClub Podium Awards
We will still be honoring TriClubs with Podium Awards at races. The TriClub Podium Awards are an on-site competition that awards the Top 5 clubs with a trophy and digital award for each IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 event. On-site Podium Awards are determined by the Top 5 individual athletes with the most AGR points from each club. The top 5 athlete’s points will be added together to receive a club grand total.
Please note, TriClub Podium awards vary by region and award ceremonies will be adjusted on a race by race basis. Please be on the lookout for race specific emails regarding on-site operations.
