PAU HANA: 2023 VINFAST IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RACE WEEK RECAP FOR TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10

KAILUA-KONA, Hawai`i (Oct. 10, 2023) – The 2023 VinFast IRONMAN World Championship triathlon race week is upon us as female professionals and age-group athletes make their way to Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i. For the first time in the event’s 40-plus year history, the women’s field has their own dedicated IRONMAN World Championship race in historic Kailua-Kona on Saturday, Oct. 14. Below is a summary recapping highlights from the last 24-hours, upcoming activities, events, and links to resources to help you cover the event.

WANNA GRAB A COFFEE? One of the many IRONMAN World Championship race week traditions is the Live Aloha Coffee Boat which serves free fresh brewed coffee. The catch? You have to be willing to swim out to the vessel afloat in Kailua Bay.

REPRESENTING THE COLORS: Ali`i Drive was awash with colors as athletes representing 73 countries. Regions and territories marched in the Parade of Nations, an iconic IRONMAN World Championship tradition. Athletes made their way from the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort to Hale Hālāwai, Ali`i Drive. “A Fighting Chance”
